Founded in 1961, Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) is one of Peru’s top medical schools and is the leader of health related research publications. UPCH boasts a number of beautiful campuses and medical clinics across Lima which provides students with the facilities to pursue higher learning and scientific research. With an experienced staff and numerous international collaborations, UPCH produces world class research opportunities and publications in the fields of medicine, dentistry, natural sciences, public health, veterinary, nursing, psychology and education. By collaborating with foreign research institutions, we are able to create unique opportunities for student exchanges and joint research projects on a global scale.


UPCH currently is the only university in Peru with a School of Public Health and Administration (FASPA). FASPA aims to educate and train the next generation of health professionals and leaders. Through lectures, research, and interdisciplinary collaborations, FASPA is dedicated towards setting a strong example and paving the way of public health education in Peru.
